China's Jiaozhou Bay Bridge, the world’s longest cross-sea bridge, linking the eastern port city of Qingdao and the offshore island Huangdao, opens on June 30, 2011. This bridge is about 37 Km long and it is constructed with an amount of $1.5 billion. It took 21 years in making. Jiaozhou Bay bridge became the longest cross sea bridge in the world.
